Since 2005, AGORA is active as an Academic Collaborative Centre Public Health for the region Gelderland. AGORA is a collaboration between MHS north-east Gelderland, Wageningen UR and several other partners like Caransscoop and the National Institute for Public Health and the Environment (RIVM). AGORA is specialised in applied research in the field of public health.
AGORA is a sustainable collaboration between Wageningen University, organisations from practice and municipalities. We develop (cost-)effective policy programmes and translate knowledge from science directly into practice. In addition, we convert policy issues in tangible research questions. This generates answers which can be used directly. The service provision of AGORA for example includes initiating joined research projects, organising network events with a specific theme, or providing result oriented workshops.
We focus on the following themes:
Effectively joining forces is what motivates us.
